Since its foundation in 2005, the masters of the craft, led by Matthias Ludwigs, Pâtissier of the Year 2009, have created a place where creative dessert experiences find a home. Their use of fair-trade ingredients such as high-quality chocolate and vanilla speaks volumes about their commitment to sustainability and regionality. This manifests itself, for example, in the use of honey from their own courtyard, with preference given to producers from the local area.

The cafés, strategically located across Cologne, not only offer sweet works of art such as the "Queen of Hearts" with vanilla crémeux and pistachio sponge cake, but also a cosy ambience for breakfast or a relaxing tea time. The hidden backyard terrace of the branch in Apostelnstraße is particularly inviting on sunny days to linger and savour the numerous tarts, macarons and pralines.
