German-French cuisine

Tappo in Cologne's Sülz district is a gastronomic gem that delights diners with its German-French cuisine at an upscale brasserie level. Since 1 April 2018, it has been run by Ingo Fertig and Abbas Nargessi, who have many years of experience in the Cologne gastronomy scene.

With a capacity of 34 seats and an inviting bar for ten additional guests, Tappo creates a sociable yet intimate atmosphere. During the warmer months, an outdoor catering area expands the available space and invites guests to enjoy their meals in the open air. These are accompanied by a carefully curated selection of wines from classic growing regions, ideal for meeting the discerning tastes of guests.

The cuisine at Tappo is characterised by a mixture of German, French and international influences, which are underlined by high-quality products and artful preparation. This diversity not only reflects the openness of Cologne, but also a strong commitment to sustainability and regionality. Here, culinary innovation is combined with a deep respect for cultural traditions and the warm hospitality that is native to Cologne.
