A culinary journey through different cultures

The NENI restaurant in Cologne, located in the 25hours Hotel with its impressive roof terrace and view of the cathedral, offers cosmopolitan cuisine that combines the flavours of Israel, Romania and Spain with local influences. This fusion of flavours is derived from the Molcho family's dynamic travel history, which is based on the principle of "balagan" - the friendly chaos of eating together. This unconventional way of dining encourages interaction between guests and adds a convivial, lively touch to the meal.

The name NENI stands for the sons Nuriel, Elior, Nadiv and Ilan, which further emphasises the family character. The passion for food has deep roots in the Molchos' history and reflects the cultural richness and diversity that Cologne itself embodies as a city. The mezze served are a culinary experience in themselves, with curry mango hummus and beetroot hummus that invite you to share.

A particular highlight is the Knafeh dessert. This speciality from Jerusalem combines sweet and salty flavours and is rounded off with Greek yoghurt ice cream and pistachios. By using traditional Levantine ingredients, NENI respects the heritage of the cuisine while intensively exploring new flavours.
