The modern Church of the Resurrection of Christ is the work of the well-known architect Gottfried Böhm and was built between 1968 and 1970. The building was constructed from brick and exposed concrete on an irregular ground plan. The surrounding buildings of the parish, on the other hand, were constructed entirely of brick. Sculptural building cubes and sloping roofs characterise the external impression of the building. The tower with its interesting staircase is also an eye-catcher. The interior impresses with its calm atmosphere, which is characterised by a low incidence of light and nested room structures. The few windows were also designed by Gottfried Böhm.
